As a consistent meditator, 6 year yoga student, and Integral Qigong/Tai Chi practice leader with the Institute of Integral Qigong &Tai Chi, Krissy studies the powerful effect that deep relaxation has on overall health. Not only does it promote homeostasis of the body systems, but a person’s ability to detach from stress can cultivate opportunity for uprooting long held emotional/mental imbalances. To expand her mind/body practices and promote stress-mastery for students and clients alike, she attended massage school in 2016 through Brookdale Community College, in Lincroft N.J and studied Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone & Hydrotherapy, Sports Massage techniques, Chair Massage, and Prenatal massage. She has explored these practices and techniques in a busy spa atmosphere since graduating massage school. Krissy also teaches Integral Tai Chi & Qigong (breath work, meditation, gentle movement, self-applied massage) through the Institute of Integral Qigong & Tai Chi as a level 2 practitioner (120 of 200 hours), and is an assistant for trainings with this organization.
