Myofascial and Neuromuscular Trainings
In this live course we will look at some causes of acute and chronic myofascial pain in the muscles associated with Lower Crossed Syndrome and how we can assist the client in achieving relief. Presentation of myofascial trigger points and their referral patterns along with a step by step combination treatment plan of myofascial and neuromuscular therapy techniques that can be implemented in the treatment room the very next day. We will discuss contraindications, stressors, clinical characteristics of trigger points, and client self care. Muscles to be addressed in this seminar are Quadratus Lumborum, the Erector Spinae and Paraspinals, Gluteals, Abdominals, hip flexors including Iliopsoas. Primarily a hands on course with some lecture. Please bring Massage table, sheets, bolster, note taking supplies, massage cream of choice (nothing scented please), a positive attitude, and willingness to work and be worked on!
