Spinal Energetics
Spinal Energetics is a modality developed by Chiropractor and Counsellor Dr Sarah Jane. It is a practice that combines Eastern and Western thought, to interact with a person’s spine, nervous system and energetic field, to harness a person’s own innate wisdom to know and heal themselves. Each person’s response to the treatment is very unique. Some people move a little, others move A LOT during their first session. Some people take months or years; other’s never ‘move’ at all. It is important to note, that the amount of movement does not directly correlate to the amount of depth or benefits a person may receive during a session.

What is Spinal Energetics?
Spinal Energetics is not just a bodywork session — it’s a somatic, energetic, and nervous-system based process that invites your body to intelligently unwind long-held tension, emotional residue, and structural resistance. Rather than “fixing” your body, Allison works with your body’s innate wisdom — supporting movement, voice, and internal release wherever your system is ready.
During a session you may:
- Notice spontaneous nervous-system waves
- Experience shaking, breath changes, or verbal releases
- Feel tension soften around the spine, hips, or shoulders
- Uncover emotional or subconscious stories stored in the tissue
This work is gentle but powerful; every body responds differently, and movement or no movement does not determine depth of benefit.

- Recent physical injuries, fractures, and/or surgeries
- Epilepsy
- History or diagnosis of aneurysms
- Cardiovascular problems
- History of seizures
- Severe Asthma
- Heart disease
- Heart conditions
- Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, or spiritual emergence within the past three years.
- Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect their ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.
- Spinal Energetics practitioners cannot treat animals.
